The New It-Girl Accessory

As a true fashion girl, it's my goal to aspire, inspire and dream. What's in and what's out.. it all matters! As fashion week catwalks by, snapped up on street style blogs all over the world are the newest trends. I found this photo on style.com {a favorite haute couture destination} and thought the veil accessory was everything... simply perfect.

My Little Paris: Kusmi Tea

After a long day of classes, I'm always fatigued and ready for some TLC. I can't wait to get home, take off my boots, put my hair down and slip into some comfy clothes. At the same time, Paris always seems to be busy and when I arrive home it’s no different. Fashion girls are waiting in line for coffee, on their way to pilates or doing a little window shopping. Even though I want to relax, I can’t help but feel inspired to pull together a few cute accessories and head out the door. I'm very lucky to live in Paris and going to and from school is not fashionably fulfilling. So, today I decided to head to Kusmi, one of my favorite tea shops. Something about trying a new tea is just so major! I’m currently sipping on the vanilla bourbon which I’ve sweetened with a little stevia. It's absolutely delicious with just the perfect touch of rich spice and sweet vanilla.

Are you a coffee or tea girl?

My 2015 Fashion Resolutions

There has always been something very special to me when it comes to the idea of a new year. I love the thought of a fresh start filled with happiness, love and MORE shoes. When the countdown begins and the clock strikes midnight I can't help but think that this year is going to be a beautiful one! So here's to a sparkling year full of haute couture fashion and red lips.

1. Have A Well Organized Closet! The most important resolution for me is to keep my closet well organized! A well-organized closet is not only neat and pretty but it arranges your wardrobe in a way that helps you get dressed. Whether that means you have your most-worn basics hanging in one area or you like to color code, your mornings will be a breeze with all your clothes easy to find.

2. Be A Chic Shopper! In 2015, I want to shop in new stores and find unique pieces from little boutiques. It's always fun to find a gem in a thrift store or to look around in a few clearance bins at Forever 21. At the same time, I also want to think about what I already have in my closet and not
"over-buy".

3. Read More Magazines & Make More Inspiration Mood Boards. In a recent video, I shared the idea of finding my fashion sense by looking to magazines to create mood boards with my favorite pictures and layouts. In 2015, I promise to find more time for this project. Although time consuming, it allows me to relax and focus my energy.

4. Experiment With New Styles & Stores. In 2015, I want to mix patterns, layer fabrics and experiment with textures. I promise to take more risks and have fun styling and being creative.

5. Stay Updated With The Fashion Industry! I follow many fashion newsletters on twitter but in 2015, I promise to spend 15 minutes a day reading about the latest news. I like to learn about trend forecasts and what's happening in the business side of the industry.

Does Olivia Palermo Rule Fashion Week?

"A rose can never be a sunflower, and a sunflower can never be a rose. All flowers are beautiful in their own way, and that's like women too." Miranda Kerr. Loving yourself and your personal style is everything. We all have faux-pas moments and bad hair days, but whether you love quirky styling or classic pieces, you will always be uniquely YOU!

My Fashion Icon: Olivia Palermo

What: A fashion icon is someone who inspires your wardrobe and ultimately can do no wrong in your eyes. A fashion icon represents more than haute couture A-listers and their stylists. She is an everyday girl with personal flair that is effortlessly enviable.

Where: I fell in love with her personality and approach to fashion with her appearances on "The City". I was then inspired to learn about her career and all her style tips.

Why: Olivia always seems to look put together with unique and unexpected touches. None of her looks are boring, or straight off the runway. Her love for mixing and matching pieces shows the true beauty in presenting yourself.

Who is your fashion icon?

On-The-Go Glamour

Some people dream of becoming journalists, actors or food photographers but ever since I was young I've dreamed of traveling from city to city, on my way from fashion show to fashion show.  The Louis Vuitton duffel, the organized handbag carrying everything I need and of course my passport tucked neatly in its leather pouch... To travel in style and be a true jet setter, you have to look put together! I'm absolutely in love with this Nars *Virtual Domination* palette because it has all my favorite Nars powders for a weekend getaway. This limited edition collection has three blushes (Sex Fantasy, Deep Throat and Final Cut), one highlighter (Miss Liberty) and my favorite bronzer (Laguna). I love the idea of throwing this palette and a few other beauty products into my carry-on and being ready for anything! Comment below your favorite on-the-go beauty product!
