Saint Germain Des Près... I absolutely love where I live. From the busy boulangeries to Jardin du Luxe just a few minutes away, I have it all. My best friend and I love doing our makeup for an afternoon of window shopping and delicious treats.

My love for Sunday is indescribable... it’s not even instagrammable.  Even with a lengthy to-do list including homework and cleaning my room, I still woke up glowing and excited to make my favorite cocoa almond butter smoothie.  The weather is gorgeous and yet I’m still loving the view from my bed.  My pink Victoria Secret pajamas are just another fabulous Sunday thing as I can wear them all day!  I never make plans because it's a day to catch up, maybe go to pilates or try a new lunch spot.  I have a pretty exciting week coming up...(*surprises on their way*) but today is all about revitalizing with some TLC.

Daily Obssesion: Vogue's Fashion Night Out

Wearing a black slip, a cream blouse, Brian Atwood flats and my beloved Chanel, I set out, best friend by my side, to explore Vogue's Fashion Night Out. The one night shopping extravaganza was filled with giggling in Tod's, admiring the newest collection in Chanel and hogging the photo booth at Lancaster.  Just imagine, Paris' finest streets filled with fashionistas all coming together to celebrate the most talked about social event on the fashion calendar.  Mini Celine's, Stella McCartney's and Balenciaga's everywhere...

My Little Paris: Le Hibou

So chic.  Le Hibou is Paris' little New York.  Every time I stop in for a quick coffee, I'm immediately inspired by an outfit.  Le Hibou attracts lively Parisian couples for casual lunches and fashionista best friends for weekly gossip sessions.  The vintage, yet so mod ambience is to die for.  Sitting à l'exterior is the place to be as you can look out onto the busy streets of Saint-Germain de Près and its elegant residents. I would call this more of a cafe because I find the midday crowd laughing over chocolate mousse a little more fabulous than the predictable dinner crowd.

NYFW Beauty Essentials

NYFW.  A girl can only dream...the lights, the shoes, the sparkle.  Fashion Week is everything!  If I were walking the streets of New York, wearing head-to-toe Valentino, I would want my makeup to be simple and elegant.  Does this outfit need a red lip?  Who is she wearing?  Are we going to the after party?  Does this photo look better in Valencia or Amaro?  I hope this outfit gets me on a street style blog!  So Maj!

These products are perfect for a fresh and natural catwalk-worthy look!  I had to include my Clarins Beauty Flash Balm.  It's a little touch of moisture that makes my skin look bright and radiant.  I refuse to leave the house without it as it has become so routine.  Layering blushes is my new obsession.  Benefit's Fine One One and Nars Orgasm Illuminator, stippled onto my cheeks, has become my favorite blush.  Fashion never sleeps which means that my undereye bags love concealer. A little goes a long way with Nars Radiant Concealer.  The easy "lipgloss" application leaves you with extra time to rethink your outfit and maybe even try a new hairstyle.  Oh, and of course, a nude nail is a fashion week basic because no matter what's said to be IN or OUT, Essie's Chinchilly is timeless.

An absolute lightblub moment...If anyone knows the city of lights, shopping, macarons and cute boys... it's moi.  Earlier today,  I was typing an elaborate email to my BFF in London about my newest finds in my endless search for the best gluten-free patisseries, when I realized that I could write an entire book about all the très chic things around me.  But then, duh!  I remembered that I have a very real blog waiting for updates.  So, désormais, (from now on),  I will be posting weekly updates from my favorite spots.  Welcome to My Little Paris!

Something About September...

So, I’m sitting here right now, looking out my window at all these beautiful cotton candy colored clouds wondering why this month has been so special for me.  I know that the excitement of fall color schemes and the new school year can't be the only things making me love September à ce moment.  It seems that this month has been just the revival and fresh outlook I needed, but, I still can't seem to think why I feel so diamond encrusted.  I wake up every morning snuggled in my white and pink fluffy blanket totally ready and excited for whatever the day holds.  With my weekdays full of school work and chatter in the school cafeteria (oh so glamorous), my weekends anxiously await relaxing mornings, daydreamy dinners and fabulous nights.  So basically thanks September, for making me sparkle again.
