Ella: The Interior Designer

Guess who has become obsessed with room decor!? Moi!  I finally had time to finish the last touches on my new room (yes, room tour coming soon)!  I'm currently designing the wall behind my bed. What do you think of the boxes?  I'm not sure about the one with the magazine and perfume.  I was thinking of replacing this with a long glass jar filled with pink jelly beans.. hehehe :) Very pink. Very pretty.

White Sweaters && Autumn Leaves

OK. It is finally fall.  And I love it.  I'm on October break right now which means I get to enjoy the chilly mornings curled up in bed.  The afternoons have been oh so gorgeous.  As much as I miss the leaves falling in Central Park, walking along the Seine cuddled up in this cozy sweater is everything!  Anyways, I L O V E you all! p.s. I've been doing some fall shopping.. lots of posts coming soon.

My Little Paris: Carette

"Order me a cassis macaron."

I'm running late, of course.  With my new Sandro boots and matching Sandro sweater, I feel casually chic but of course I am fashionably late.  I've become a regular at Carette ever since they introduced a few dairy free/gluten free macarons.  Whatever I've read in Gwen Paltrow's cookbook about refined sugars is completely irrelevant when I decide between framboise or another cassis.  Although a little touristy, Carette is a must on my Paris to do list.  I can't help feel like I'm exactly where I'm supposed to be when I grab a seat outside amongst the other midday fashionistas.  The elegant Parisian ambience and instagrammable desserts are so major.

P.S. If you're loving this outfit don't worry because I'm posting a fashion piece a.s.a.p.

Fall has arrived and I'm in love.  The colorful leaves, layered outfits and hot chocolate movie nights are everything.  I couldn't be more excited to be on October break.  This photo was taken near Saint Sulpice after the perfect afternoon!  I spent the morning with my BFF, did a little filming for my youtube channel and walked around with my Dad.  Aren't father-daughter days the best?!  Oh, I also found an adorable bio store just a few minutes from where I live *so LA*.  I've missed blogging S O much so I'll be keeping you all updated this week!  C O M M E N T below what your favorite part of today was?

Daily Obsession: Success

Success comes in all different shapes and sizes.  Now more than ever, I've been challenged to manage my time between college applications, school work, and SATs.  In the midst of this, I have completely forgotten the importance of taking care of myself.  In the last few weeks, I've made no time for my weekly pilates class or nightly walks with my dog, things that keep my grounded and happy.  I had no idea that working so hard would throw me off balance like this.  I would rather have B grades and enjoy life than continue to get A's and forget all the things that are important to me.

Tomorrow, I'll be taking my SATs!  No matter what I get, I'll be proud and confident of the work I've done.  So, I'm off to a yoga session (the studio has probably forgotten me) to find my zen before a good nights sleep.  Wish me luck!!

P.S. Write a motivating comment down below & tell me how your week is going!

Prabal, Prada & Proenza: Meet My Fashion BFF

Where Prabal, Prada & Proenza get their inspiration for the pieces that come down the runway is beyond me.  Fashion Week always inspires me to think about the talent and passion around me.  My best friend, who illustrates all of these things, is a born and raised princess.

I mean, she just literally bleeds Chanel.

Her remarkable confidence, sparkling soul, and love for fashion make us twins.  As if she wasn’t winning you over already, I forgot to mention she wants to work in the fashion industry like MOI! Her energy and flair are seen in her breathtaking fashion photography.  This year, she’s applying to Parsons School Of Design and I know they would be lucky to get her.

Is she going to take over the world?  Probably.  But, in the meantime, I managed to ask her some questions to share with you all!  Meet Diana.

Ella: What is a “daily Diana day” like?
Diana: Well I simply couldn’t live without my après school coffee and magazine date.  For me … it’s just a must-have.

E: Where do you see yourself in 10 years?
D: Oh, at 27 … I’m in NY, running around, wearing Louboutins (*giggles*), coffee in hand.  Oh, and I’m on my way to the Moschino pre-show.

E: Where do you find your inspiration?
D: Social media, magazines, colors layouts, seasons… My mind is consistently “fashion”.

E: What is your fashion style in 3 words?
D: Live, Love, and Accessorize.  For me, I love the idea of self-made couture fashion.  It’s customizable art.

E: Valentino, Chloe or Balanciaga?
D: Balenciaga

E: How do you style yourself for school?
D: My outfits reflect my emotions.  I wear what I feel.  Comfort over everything.

Although no one can really say what’s next for Diana, wherever she goes, I’ll be following!
